finally the holidays has ended... well, it was great while it lasted. now its back to projects and assignments, and a newly addition of final exams. horrible! other than that, everything is back to normal i guess.
dissapointed though, couldnt manage to do Roman Art & Architecture. apparently it isnt a subject offered this semester. weird. nevertheless, modern architecture is fine with me. except i dislike having to sit for a final exam paper. its an elective subject, should be a sub that will help boost our grades easily. haha, cant wait till we get to the Le Corbusier topic, that should be interesting... i like le corb ( the father of modern architecture)... tough he's a male chauvenist as well as a pervert... he's a genius in so many other ways in architecture.
was at July Camp during the last weekend of the holidays... overall it was... ummm... refreshing. yeap. cell lead during the camp, but they didnt really require much of my attention... all quite dependable. usually camps for me is a time to try get in touch with God as well as a reflection period to back track how my life has been progressing and etc. it can be really tiring to think about things (ugly things), but it once all is settled and left behind... its all worthwhile. glad i had company this time around to share the sort of bitter memory moments... ;-)
here's a verse i have to share...
Psalm 119
I will obey your decrees; do not utterly forsake me.
I delight in your decrees; i will not neglect your word.
Your statutes are my delight; they are my counselors.
I run in the path of your commands, for you have set my heart free
How i long for your percepts! Preserve my life in your righteousness.
I lift up my hands to your commands, which i love, and i meditate on your decrees.
This has been my practice: i obey your precepts.
The earth is filled with your love, O Lord; teach me your decrees.
The law from your mouth is more precious to me than thousands of pieces of silver & gold.
May my heart be blameless toward your decrees, that i may not be put to shame.
Preserve my life according to your love, and i will obey the statutes of your mouth.
To all perfection i see a limit; but your commands are boundless.
I gain understanding from your precepts; therefore i hate every wrong path.
My heart is set on keeping your decrees to the very end.
My flesh trembles in fear of you; i stand in awe of your laws.
And because i consider all your precepts right, i hate every wrong path.
Streams of tears flow from my eyes, for your law is not obeyed.
Your statutes arew forever right; give me understanding that i may live.
Long ago i learned from your statutes that you establised them to last forever.
All your words are true; all your righteous laws are eternal.
I obey your precepts and your statutes, for all my ways are known to you.
I have strayed like a lost sheep. Seek your servant, for i have not forgotten your commands.

Dirty Dancing...
feeling really remorse for my apartment, its like a lil boy who hasnt taken his bathe for weeks. i still cannot understand why people can be so unhygenic. they can just let oil and dirt lie around the house for days and weeks. leaving hair lying all over in the toilet. rubbish piling up till theres no room in the kitchen to move around. dishes washed like it wasnt washed at all... pots and pans as black as charcoal. not to mention so so lazy to get cutlerries and plates from cabinets. milk bottles just left stacking up, until you would think we're exhibiting some funky art pieces around the house... well folks... thats art for you. i have the least things being occupied in the kitchen and toilet... yet... sigh. and we're renting out the other room... its quite embarassing for them to see the condition of the apartment... i think the only people we would attract to want to live here would be slobs or maybe the blind.
anyway, was fooling around learning how to dance last night... just some basic steps. its funny... all this while i thought that dancing was not a common activity that people would do or know how to do in asian countries. however, i think i'm really missing alot then. then again... dancing isnt really an interest i would take the initiative to learn. but it's rather fun.i remember one prom that i went... but the thought of dancing never occured in my mind in going for proms then. i thought the activities would be to meet friends and eat the whole night, oh with the occasional photo takings. but dancing... hmmm... naw!
ANYWAY!
meeting later regarding about july camp in the evening at uni... and tomorrow i have to go to my faculty to register my subjects. more or less decided to take up Roman Art & Architecture as my elective subject. the art of hellenic plagiarism... uncreative romans.

S L A C K . . .
the holidays are almost over... and it wasnt really a supposed productive holiday. haha... one word... SLACK.
however... the july camp would be a grand finale to end the holidays. partially excited and reluctant about the event. wonder what sort of cell members i'll be designated to. oh how exciting!!
well, the past few days have been really slacky days for me... mainly roaming around the four walls of my apartment. contemplating on doing activities... sadly the body was not able to respond to the minds desire. the nights were slightly more proactive... i mean did have an excuse to get out of the house, though my route destination was not really that far. hmmm... this is so unhealthy. dangerous i should say... such a procrastinator. its like the only way that would get me off my feet and start being proactive is to tie a rod behind my back that dangles towards my face with a banana tied with a string. like what Robin Williams would say, the only way things can be done is when there is a big hershey bar waiting at the end of the finishing line... time management would not be such a problem... instead things probably be done way ahead of schedule.
anyway... that was then. today i played tennis with my new racquet... the whole afternoon was occupied on the court. oopss... got my butt kicked accidently. shucks! rematch!! this bites... now i'll have to try my best of getting use to using the new racquet... i intend to complain and justify my reasons of losing in this blog entry... but then... never mind. theres always a 101 reasons for everything that went wrong... and one definite reason if all is good.
JM is on the way home now, yippie!... im hungry... i haven't eaten today. skipped breakfast... and was busy hitting balls during lunch time. ugh...
tomorrow... meeting of cell leaders for the camp at uni. at some building that i have no what-so-ever clue of its whereabouts... i think i have a few errands to do tomorrow. but the problem is im not so sure of what.
its my final week before the semester begins.... partially eager, and the other half... ummm lazy.
yea... serene... will contact ya.. soon... someday... one day.... hehe. cheers!

a WEE bit irritated...
have i mention that i have a special friend staying with us for the past couple of weeks? well... he's still here, and we shall call him Bian. Bian is a very special boy... with really small eyes... its practically just a line across below his eye brows. and he's got really strong pheromones... but it doesnt really help attract the opposite sex.
Anyway, not to be mean... but i am a lil annoyed. i think Bian has a problem with the loo. he has a very bad dick eye coordination when it comes to pissing into the bowl. every morning since the day he arrived, when i go for my morning wee... there is always a spot of urine on the floor, and the worse part is that he never cleans it up. i can assure that it is urine coz... u dont need to do a PH test to identify yellow (and occasionally slight red) water is urine water. it might had been orange juice... but then again, who on earth drinks OJs in the W.C??
Every morning when i see that.. i get pretty worked up... but cant express how i feel coz i am supposed to be nice to him. i feel like slapping him on the head... telling him to "aim! kiddo... AIM!!"... or stuck up 2 toothpicks up his eye lids... give him a better surface view of the bowl. However, i have to give credit to him for putting up the toilet seat... coz if he didnt. it be worse!! yellow strands of urine water around the toilet seat... pity the gals having to sit on top of that. yea.. maybe he should do his wee, female style... it be easier and convenient for him, and save our trouble for cleaning up after him.
i mean... he's been staying here for like almost 3 weeks... for free, doesnt need to do the house chores and cook... etc. and all we ask from him is a simple request to just pee it right. Geez...
i'm already having trouble cleaning the gals hair scattered around the toilet... and now urine?! you cant vacuum urine water with a vacuum cleaner... eh?
you know.. now im thinking... maybe he doesnt have a penis. i mean... how can anyone be that terrible at aiming... every morning! its not like he closes his eyes while peeing... i see him rubbing his eyes every morning... opening up his eye lids for about 5 minutes (must be shut really tightly). HHhhhmmmM... i must get down to the bottom of this.
i could actually go on and on complaining about this... but i shant lower my standards being whiners.

Return of the King... thats me!!
im back!!!!!!! bet all you peeps miss me... right you did!! anyway... was on a week at Adelaide... and it was freakin cold!! i mean the house i stayed was colder than it was on the outside. but i shall not complain... coz the hospitality services was great... eh? Adelaide was ummm very different from Melbourne. if spiderman was in Adelaide... he would probably be walking instead of swinging... coz the buildings aint tall enough to do so... hehe. Okay.. okay! sorry ju... i just couldnt help myself mocking. Adelaide was fun... i mean they have cinemas... the seats were so much better than the ones in melbourne... and they were screening Spiderman.. shows that they are quite up to track with melbourne. Spiderman was Super duper cool!! whoa... awesome!! magnificent!! wild!! i cant wait till part 3 comes out!! but please oh please... take Kirsten Dunst away!! she's ugly!! they should cast someone like Julia Stiles... now thats class. there's a lady with lots of style, charisma... not to mention pretty, and cool with a "dont-mess-with-me-dude-im-julia" vibe. pity peter parker... good thing she aint ugly in the comics...
yea... well... the most exciting activities during the trip was the food... eat n eat n eat. till i was dead full... i ate...Extra Large Beef Noodles, a Pathetic platter of Lasagna, German Sausages, Porterhouse Steak, Pancakes, Banana Sandwiches, Pie Floater (meat pie in green pea soup), KFC, Jap Mix rice, a huge glass of milk shake, Oysters, Cold Rock Ice Cream (ice cream mixed with Marshmallows & Maltesers), and Korean BBQ Buffet (Yum!). we did other activities as well, like going up to mount Lofty... Handolf (a german settlement), Rundell Mall (the most happening street in the city), and the Largest shopping mall in Adelaide!! Marion !! hahahaha... where i bought my new Babolat racquet!! oh.. i cant wait to play tennis... and start whopping some ass.
the Adelaide trip was overall... very relaxing and slack. i enjoyed myself there... with the company... though it got awkward at times being a tall lamp post. we had so much fun didnt we... eh? haha... talking crap... telling senseless illogical lame jokes... elephant walks... swaying with our shadows... and just chilling... not to mention our blur dont-know-what-to-do-next agendas... and of course our pre-planning for our Banana Cafe/Bar/Restaurant whatever, dont throw away the menu!! However!! the most bit that i dislike about the trip was the bus rides from Melb to adelaide and vice versa... it was freakin long!! 10 hours on the bus!! it was awful... well going there wasnt so bad... had company to talk with... but the trip back was... dreadful. plus, peeing in the bus toilet was impossible... aiming was hard with all the shaking and bumpy movements. probably i was a lil anxious to get back... the whole time i was staring out the window... hoping to see glimpses of the city scape... 10 hours was like 10 years!! im glad im back... yea really glad.

The Rose That Grew From Concrete...
Did you hear about the rose that grew
from a crack in the concrete
Proving nature's laws wrong it learned
2 walk without having feet
Funny it seems but by keeping its
dreams it learned 2 breathe fresh air.
Long live the rose that grew from
concrete when no one else even cared!
