watch out! here comes the funky man...

today was my keeping fit day. well, it didnt start out to be a keeping fit day. instead it was a slack come home lie on bean bag to read day. but julius managed to persuade me to pursue on my keeping fit regime. running all the way from home to the uni ball courts. that was dreadful. i hate running. but things turn out for the better when we reach for the courts. made my yearly debut on the courts, and it wasnt so bad. we won a total of i think 6 matches. we had 3 straight wins out of the 6. man! i love this game (c). its really the universal game of all sports where people can just come together and and have physical fellowship (okay, that sounded wrong) all because of a basketball. soccer is somewhat similar... but its just too time consuming and the field is just too damn big. not everyone be able to strut their skills, 'cept they end up running back and forth barely even having any whatsoever contact with the ball. haiya bball is much more fun. period. okay second would be tennis, but thats more of an exclusive game.
dinner... i made porridge. i had smelly beancurd cravings. plus i didnt want to gain back all the calories i lost again. just plain ol porridge with raw egg and beancurd. except for julius whom i think is weird for adding sweet chilli sauce into his bowl of porridge. this reminded me of merrick and rosso... with the bearded lady adding sweetchilli sauce in everything.
bought myself a new cd. kool & the gang: gold collection. i've been looking for it almost everywhere. '70s disco, thats the real stuff. the real original funk music!
right now my fingers are crossed. im hoping to get my first choice for my design studio. its a competition with a prize money of 20 grand euros. man i can do plenty with that amount of cash. i'll get myself a new.... ummm. i'll know what to do once i win that money. plus hopefully we'll get our fridge and washing machine by tomorrow. im in need of a fridge and my sweaty laundry is piling up at the corner.
okay im getting sleepy now. class at 11 tomorrow. better brush teeth... the tought/ memory of dr. moy doing a 7 in one blow really creep the jeepers out of me.

i like the way you move...

today/ yesterday/ whichever. we failed to get ourselves a new fridge, and now all our groceries are still lying around the kitchen top with no place to chill. we've officially been striped off our luxurious living lifestyle of furniture. one by one as we watch the movers carry out the stuff. sigh. remembering every moment i've spent with each of the furniture last year, good times.
so now we've opt for a new way of living. a chill out minimalist style crib with bean bags and dim lights. everything is done on the floor except eating, we managed to get a replacement for the dining table. aint as big as the previous one but still good. timber finished. we're still in the process of revamping the place. trying to find the best deals for our essentials, i.e. fridge, washing machine, beanbags... even our new ironing board is at kneel level. we should change our carpet flooring into tatami mats. that would be so what we're in for. plus i hate carpeted floors, especially on rainy days.
while walking around the city looking for a fridge. we experienced a hail storm. that was pretty exciting, particularly when we were observing this guy trying to run across the tram tracks under the storm... and he slipped and fell. that must had hurt. hehe.
heck. im so lazy to type. and i just found out that im playing drums tomorrow... ugh.

smokey mountain lullaby...

back to where it will soon be over. after all the drama at the respective airports, i made it safely here. thankfully. but as i was setting foot into my room oh with horror in my eyes! mineral bottles flooded the area. i was abit irritated wondering who the culprit be. it was sort of expected who the culprit(s) was, girls can be so messy... even when they sleep in a strangers room. okay technically shes not a stranger. oh pls, atleast have the decency to just throw out all the bottles before you leave instead of just leaving it in the room. its a free accomodation, seriously. never again.
ANYWAY, well the place is relatively messy. but im pretty proud of myself being able to wake up early to clean up the place. the place has been vacuumed and the kitchen smells... much better. and all the rotten food in the fridge... (almost) all gone. it got abit confusing figuring out what was expired and whats not. i need to go groceryshopping / supermarketing soon.
Another matter which is a hassle to settle... bills. sigh. it has been piling up in the last 2/3 months. how on earth can the phone bill be so high?! and theres this call to Lorne where nobody seems to know who it came from, 12AUD for just one phone call. geez!
besides cleaning up the place, i managed to run some errands down at uni. there has been a few changes at the faculty. all the doors are now painted in slick black, and they finally created a direct cut through from the archi building to the faculty office. architects think so alike at these matters. i've also manage to select my electives. taking up a business law subject this semester (been thinking of doing a business/law sub since early last year), and its back to night studio sessions again. for 2 days a week i might have to end class at 915pm. i dread to think of walking home at that hour during late autumn. it seems like a pretty packed semester, although i think i might have fridays off again.

my oh my, just found out from my sources that a friend is attached to another friend of mine. interesting. how did it all happened eh. never suspected it to happened, then again there was this once i remembered we all plotting on throwing eggs at him on his birthday and she was the mastermind of it all. hehe. cute. i still am amazed... how?

dalam benci ada rindu...

it was a pretty slow day today. 'cept for the morning drama at home and at work. 3 more days before i complete my industrial training period. cant wait for it to end actually, definitely a very different experience from my previous company. hubbahubbahubba...
work in the morning was relatively exciting actually, stepped into the office and everyone was in no time updating me on the current status of the jesselton project. the client is getting impatient on the progress, but i just cant be bothered. still irritated by the mess left by the previous guy doing the project. damn lousy. nevertheless the morning was fun... i got to print out my drawings in A1 format. its always cool to print out drawings in a big scale. so profesional.
however the afternoon was somewhat the opposite. dragging myself to kill the time. maybe it was because i was sleepy. maybe i should had taken that nap instead of leaving the house earlier than usual. i can be so impulsive at times. i was so dead tired that i had to steal my colleague's coffee sachet that she placed near the hot water boiler. i think she was planning to make her own coffee plus that was the last sachet in the pantry. poor girl, i think she knows. i just pretended to show that i needed it more than her.
the heat + traffice here is driving me nuts, but i can imagine KL being 50x worse. WONDER WHY I GET MYSELF INTO SILLY WHIRLWINDS like that. besides, its just traffic. how much damage/ disruption can it cause. man! i can be such a loser.
paul's leaving tomorrow. cant believe he manage to squeeze in 2 wins from me. that reminds me, i better call julius' mom... soon.

ANYWAY, other shocking events. U2 won best album and song of the year. where the heck did thay come from?! out of nowhere. that was a real surprise...it definitely must had been a mistake.
