"The Sheep That Tried to Moo"

anyway, just to add... here's an interesting story... i had taken it from KJ's Blog.

Once upon a time, there lived this sheep called Sheep. Sheep was a personal favourite of this shepherd. The shepherd always feeds him well, takes care of him and gives him the best shelter an animal can get. Consequently, Sheep became a very fat animal. Obviously from all the good food and treatment from the shepherd.

Then one day, the shepherd decided to sell Sheep to his brother, who is a cow farmer, for reasons unknown. Sheep was distraught with sadness, for after months of excellent treatment from the shepherd, he is now under a new ownership.

The cow farmer was lazy sonuvabitch. As soon as Sheep arrived in his farm, he shoved sheep into a grazing grassy patch to mingle with the cows. The cow farmer just left Sheep there to fend for itself, to feed itself.

The days go by, Sheep felt neglected because when he has been so accustomed to being pampered by the shepherd that being left to fend for himself in a large field of cows made him lonely. So one day, he boosted his courage to communicate with the cows. He approached one and bleated. The cow looked at it and mooed, attempting to make friends.

Unfortunately after months of pampering, Sheep unconsciously developed a chronic case of inferiority complex. Thinking that his bleating was inferior to a cow's moo, Therefore, Sheep tried to speak Cow-ish. Unfortunately, no matter how hard he tried, he just couldn't moo. All that he could come up with was "Boo, Boo...", which was a mangled amalgamation of "baa" and "moo" and it came out of his mouth all mangled up, but he tried anyway.

Sheep then tried to speak with the cow, "boo, boo...". The cow, surprised with Sheep's attempt to speak cow, but not wanting to hurt Sheep's feelings, spoke with Sheep. Naturally, Sheep was ecstatic. He finally found a friend! So Sheep continued to speak with his weird-ass sheep/cow accent.

After a few weeks, the shepherd sold more sheeps to the cow farmer. The farmer, being the lazy bastard as usual, just chucked his furry, bleating acquisitions into the same grazing patch as Sheep. Sheep was excited with his new friends and walked over to welcome them. Unfortunately, after spending a few weeks in the grazing patch, Sheep spoke with the other sheep with a "Boo, Boo..." accent, much to the disgust of his fellow sheep.

Consequently, the sheep shunned him, thinking that he was such a poseur for speaking mangled Cow-ish/ Sheep-ish and forgetting his roots that he was a sheep. Sheep didn't care. Sheep thought he had plenty of cow friends, and forsaked his sheep brethren.

After a while, as the cow farmer turned to sheep farming, Sheep began losing his cow friends, and saw the number of sheep grew. However, because of his mangled Sheep/Cow accent, he couldn't make a single sheep friend, and all his cow friends have left the grazing patch. He became all alone.

One wonders why, if the shepherd had loved the sheep so much, why then did he sell the sheep to his lazy brother... perhaps he's tired of mollycoddling the sheep... food for thought !
