nothing's change...

time is running out. only less than 2 weeks before the semester ends. eek. with me is a book entitled- "the teaching of buddha". this would be a good time to convert i guess. wonder how things would work out if we had the grace of God and learn the teachings of buddha.
during the weekend i watched a spike lee movie- jungle fever. its a movie on about racism, class, drugs and affairs. i must say the dialogues were pretty intense at some parts, kind of reminds me of the Wong kar-wai sort of movies. a whole lot of characters in the movie having their own sketch, but are all interconnected into one big plot.
the main conclusion of the movie would is the argument between what is more of the issue- inter-racial relationships or drug addicts. in the movie everyone made a huge fuss about black people getting together with white people, but all the drug addicts were silently increasing in numbers. people was just being ignorant about the issue. it was like all the druggies were actually running around the streets but nobody could even care-less. however with just one inter-racial affair, the whole town went totally balistic and the focal point was on them.
then the ultimate debate was about black men needing to get a white gal to feel more superior. and there aint enough good black man around, the so-called good ones are dating 10 other women at one go. but then again maybe there are good men around... they could be the garbage man, janitors, etc. blabla...
spike lee is quite a genius. i should try and get hold more of his movies. the soundtrack's pretty poetic as well.

other events. i met ellen at the library. its been a real long time since i've seen her. i use to see her pretty often around the library, but now theres hardly a familiar face around. shucks! she finishes on the 7th. thats 2 weeks before me.

urges. i miss walking around the Ramadan bazaars. all the kuih... ayam panggang... murtabak... etc. just walking around smelling all the food brings so much joy to my tummy. MMMMMmmmmmMmmm...
