the great aussie architect Harry Seidler has been certified dead. i actually thought he'd passed away 2 years ago, until i realized that he was still producing designs. well this time im right for sure. was never really a fan of his. maybe one or two buildings (his residential designs are quite nice), but generally its all the same. but he's got taht sort of sunshading stuff going on which is pretty innovative. technically, harry's not an aussie. then again not many well known aussie people are pure aussies. but i think he migrated there during the 2 world war. i think he was from Vienna.
But we've gotta give credit to the bugger though. i mean, he was indeed the father of aussie modernism. apparently he's good friends with Glenn Murcutt, the O.C.D. architect, who only can work with himself and himself alone.
anyway. there was more to what i was going to write. but im pratically brain dead now.
