Panda Eyes... in a Sleepless Building, with A muffin for breakfast!!

Whoa! its 6:20am... back at the lab again... was at the studio touching up my model and taking photos... the model is... big. there was only one word that could describe it when people saw the model... which is.. "jesus.." probably they saw jesus as they gazed upon my model... so i guess its true what Mies Van der Rohe says that "GOd is in the DETAILS"
i really hope i can get atleast a H2 for my studio... it be just unfair... and unjustified if i dont... then again... probably there are others who did much more and much much better than me... like my other hard-working tute mates...
Was washing my face in the toilet... almost couldnt recognize the person in the mirror... those huge balck panda eyes were enormous... so i decided to play with my panda eyes on the mirror... opening my eyes as big as i could... making scary faces... but then it got abit too creepy... and so i stopped...

its really cold today... its raining outside... i'll be freezing if i were to walk home right now... its a good thing i met a new friend today... he's a vietnamese... and his name is... Pham Man Viet... cool eh? good to have company, once awhile i'll go check on him and his drawings... and just be praising his brilliance of fine drawn lines. it took him awhile before he could get my name right... and in the end he still couldnt... so i told him to just call me Sam... da man!! yeap... he's whacked too!! all hand drawings!! but atleast he's not required to do a model... but man hand drawings take a really long time to finish... respect, respect... im not so bad either lar... im using CAD... hand drawings and a model... quite POWER also... ;-)
the Archi Building is me second home... and the people in it are my family... whoa... this building never sleeps!!

Its Raining.. its Pouring... I look so Appalling.

trying to put songs in my head now... its really hard to do work in silence, especially when your dead sleepy and very very very very very very very very very very very very very.... sien. well i manged to get 6 hours of sleep tis morning...from 6-12... however it stll seems not enough... bought myself a whole box of UNCLE TOBY's nutri bars... 6 diff flavours...and ofcoz blueberry muffin!! oh yummy dummy funny!! i assume i'll be stuck in the labs for the night i guess... and later go over to the studio to take photos of the model... (oh gee... my singaporean friend has left the building, he was good company) again... misery loves company... just like the song by the Moffats (wonder what happened to them):

Misery is what I feel
When you're not around
So I can't heal
Misery is what I feel
Is what I feel....

i realised that med students are rather different from archi student in an outward look appearance... i was on the way to the med library to deliver some stuffs to my friends, and on the way pass by a series of med buildings... and all these funny aliens passing me by... they all looked different... the guys are much cleaner and well shaved, where the gals are relatively petite and short... as i was heading back to the archi building... things got pretty much familiar... tall stoned people eluding around... un-shaved faces... messy hair... bla bla... its a faculty culture thing i guess.
Heck! why didnt God make me good looking!! so i could mesmerize my tutor to make things easier for me... with those good looks and charm... probably i could get her to do some of the drawings... and presentation tips!! im really desperate eh? okila!

yea... sorry about you peeps! i'll get those email replys ASAP... probably right after this week... yea anton! sorry bout me delays in the mails...

im sleepy...

Subways... to mothers...

Taking a break from model making... hehe.. its almost done there... 'cept i realised that i forgot to buy the sort of glue that is used to join perspects together! IDIOT!! such an IDIOT!! by-golly sam.. you better pull yourslef together but i have to finish this model by today/ this morning... i guess i'll have to resolve this glue thing to other alternatives... shucks... awW man the printer isnt working either! this is terrible.. first no glue.. second i cant print out my drawings to make the model...Gosh! this is terrible!! "always look on the bright side of life... " (taking the advice from my sister's colleague... haha!)
but there were glimpses of bright sides in life today... firstly! i went for the tennis try-outs thing... and guess what! i made it to the team!! WOOHOO! this is so awesome... not playing for 2 months.. i pretty much sucked on the court... but i guess the president who knew me from the tournament i join early in the year, trusted my skills...ma cat skills!! yea baby! uhuh! uhuh! bring it down!! plus went i reached there, immediately they called me to play games before i even got to warm up... and i think im starting to develop some night vision problems... it was abit hard to see the ball at times... ughh... the spot lights flashing too brightly... but it was cool lar... atleast i came through... not bad not bad... then i met a new friend.. he's an indian... a very funny guy... indians are generally funny, i dunno why, i find them rather amusing... plus he's nice... the sort of "what you see is what you get" sort of person... which i feel totally comfortable talking with... in addition to his natural humouristic personality.
well the second thing i should be thankful with is this time i ate my dinner... and therefor not as hungry as i was yesterday... then again... its still early in the night... i'll probably be starving around 4-5am when i reach home... this time i shall close my eyes when i walk pass Gloria Jeans Coffee house... its tentalizing!!
yea... but this morning when i woke up... i never felt so angry and frustrated... i was soooooooooooooooo unhappy to wake up... probably was becoz i was still tired and the fact the first thing that came to mind was STUDIO!! but after i took a piss and bugged my housemates... it was all cool...
im all so energized today... happy that i will be getting even more playing time since i made it into the team... ugh! hope im not gonna end up being some sort of waterboy... it wont happened! hmmm the tournaments are held next semester... i'm thinking next semester's gonna be heck of a busy one... involvement in LTC, Tennis... and if im taking up modern architecture as my elective subject... thats gonna add on to my hefty load... wonder if i should take up a job.
speaking of which, my mom wants to read my blocks as well... should i? or shouldnt... hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.. thinking, thinking, thinking...

Anyway, heres a mother's song i bet most you cant remember...
Ibu, ibu engkaulah ratu hati ku
bila ku berduka
engkau hiburkan selalu
ibu, ibu... engkaulah ratu hatiku!!

Tired but Reluctant...

Finally back home from uni...its really cold walking outside at 5pm... and on the way home, i walked by a cafe... and there were lots of pastries and cakes and yummy delicious food being displayed!! i was so hungry.. being the fact that i skipped dinner... and i thought that food would be on the table when i reach home... sadly no. but thank goodness i have the cereals my neighbour had pass to me!! hallelujah!!
hmmm... was doing my final model in the studio... not really pleased at myself... well i couldnt manage to get perspects (plastic glass)... i would had finish 80% of my model if it werent for the unavailability of them perspects... shucks! and man i think this is the most expensive model i've ever done!! actually my model's cost are getting higher and higher... last year the total cost of my model was around RM100... this time its around 40AUD... thats around RM130.. not adding to the perspects that i am going to buy... those things cost a bomb!
Well... later tonight is gonna be the tennis try-outs!! woohoo... cant wait... hope i have enough energy to play.... yea, the reason i came back was so that i could collect my tennis gear over to uni, and as well take a short nap... if not i think i would rather stay at uni to finish up the other rest of my works... ugh!! 4 more days!!!!! hmmm if every thing goes according to plan... i think i should be able to finish on time... lets just hope so...
AhhHHHhhh... finally... food in me tummy... now i can sleep...

very... DISTURBED.

bombarding myself with julie andrews beautiful songs... her songs are nice... easy to sing as well... did you know that when you know the notes to sing, you can sing most anything?? yea i must master the art of Do-Re-Mi... and i learn that with just a spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down? in the most delightful way!! oh yes... did you know that you wont get diabetes by eating too much sugar? of coz you didnt... well its true!! i know.
anyway, i've decided to go for the try-outs on tuesday... i mean, its a once in a lifetime thing... so i better seize the opportunity and get some extra game time... yea, since i'll probably be at uni... no harm there taking a break to play abit of ball... i miss playing tennis... its been really awhile... all me tennis kakis are too pre-occupied with their non athletic lifes... hmm thats sad... but mayb i can make new kakis that night... and beat everyone in the tennis club!! i'll be king of the courts!!
mmm... just 5 more days before my final presentation... just the thought if it is more than i can bare... its like splinter in my head... dreaming and always daydreaming about it... this morning i was forced to wake up early... as i kept on thinking about how to do my presentation layouts... ugh!
What the heck am i doing typing this... back to work! back to work!! time is precious!! if i wanna have a clear mind when playing ball... really feel like knocking my head onto the wall right now... hmmm im facing one right now.... hmmmmmmmmmm.... *strokes chin sinisterly...*

Tennis... or Studio??

Well the chestnuts are roasting on an open fire... and jack frost is disturbingly nipping at my nose... i checked my mail today... oh yes, and yuletide carols are being sung by a choir outside where them folks are all dressed up like eskimos. received a mail from the tennis club... so i guess, everybody knows whats a turkey and some mistletoe, it sort of helps to make the season bright... and those lil tiny tots... with their eyes on the glow! they will probably find it hard to sleep tonight. they are having try-outs this coming TUESDAY!! did you know that Santa's on his way? guess what! he's loaded lots of toys and goodies on his sleigh.. Yum yum!! I wanna go!! but i've got work to do!! this is making every mother's child to secretly spy... being nosy to see if a reindeer can really know how to fly!! now im deciding now if i should go... hmmm yea well, i supposed i'll offer you a simple phrase... to all you kids from 1 years old way up to 99 years old... its only for one night, once in a lifetime... although its likely been said many times many ways... Happy Birthday to CVK...
La... La... la la la la la la ..... Bla bla bla... black sheep...
ANYWAY!! yea well i guess i'll offer you once again a simple phrase... Why oh why must it be at this sort of time.... ranging from you peeps from 99-1 years old... even-though its been overly use and very commercialized... i'll shall meditate on this... lots of times in many many different ways... EAT YOUR VEGGIES!! Please DO....

A One Sided Affair of... Tingles and Chemistry...

Misery loves company... yeap back in the CAD labs again... haha but this time ive got company... pulled in another archi friend of mine... yea its different working with someone... on and off we check on each others progress and theres communication going on... when a problem occurs in the drawing, you wont need to stress yourself figuring out how to solve it alone... 2 brains are better than one eh?! of coz. then again shes not really much of an expert in CAD as well.. so urmmm we'll be contemplating on the problem and the conclusion would usually be... "i dont think they would notice that anyway..." but now shes gone... and im back to being the lone ranger...
received a mail from my bro's gf... and she was explaining to me about that you can be very close to a person but sparks just may not happen... relating to what my bro explains to her... "its all about Chemistry..." interesting... and then the rest of the mail was about my bro... duh! so loved...
WOOHOO!! congrats to the WOLVES!! their in the conference finals!! managed to whip them sacramento to pieces... it was a slim win there... but a win is just enough for me... hpoe the lakers wont bring in much trouble for them to get the championship.... oh i wish Kobe was pleaded guilty and sent off to jail... and he wont be able to make it for the games.. hehe... (i shouldnt curse here.. forgive me) this would be all truely interesting if the finals is to be Wolves againsts the Nets... either one to win would be great!! hahah!!! im so happy!! 32 points and 21 rebounds from KG... its just spectacular!! worthy of the MVP title... not to mention 4 steals and 5 block shots!! Even jordan cant produce these sort of stats... step aside "legend"... WOOPIDOO!!
todays the last day of tute for theories... and it was a memoriable one... i loved the whole discussion, besides me just sitting there and listening... my tutor made so much sense in architecture... not needing to be so pragmatic on the designs... you dont need any meaning in your architecture... and best yet... Screw the idealism of FORM FOLLOW FUNCTION!! its all bullshit!! architecture is irrelevant and we should do it to satisfy only for ourselfs... heck i dont need to put toilets in my design... let them just pee on the trees in my garden!! and BUZZ OFF you crappy philosophers whom has no what-so-ever idea on architecture yet writes so much about it... your not in our shoes, so just shut up.. and in french TAIS TOI!!!
OH LA DE DA... this is fun... heck what am i doing here.. i should just stop studying and jsut start my own practice... really cant wait to graduate, then i wont have to be bounded by the walls of academia... being restricted by our design tutor's rules and "philosophies" of how a building design should be and not... TOTAL FREEDOM!! i can do whatever i want... i can design my kitchen on the roof, my bedroom on the car porch and NO TOILETS!!

So long, FAREWELL...

im feeling very sleepy... yet im still up doing the CAD drawings... somethings wrong here... usually i can go for hours... non stop... but lately getting tired very easily, i wanted to just stay over night at the CAD lab actually... but later i felt im losing inspiration, plus i've got classes in the morning... wish i could just pause all of time... so i can happily do my work... and just unpause it when im done...
bump into my good friend online... ALL THE BEST FOR YOUR "PHOTOCOPYING" TEST!! haha... apparently he and my ex mails each other... hmmm mayb i should give her a buzz jst to see whats been happening... better give my warm blessings to her before she leaves for the UK... which is pretty soon. apparently jules mails alot of ppl, the least expected ppl tat i never tot he would be keeping in touch... i on the other hand is lagging on my mail replies... ugh... ive got tonnes of unreplied mails up till now... havent got the ummph to reply them these few weeks... i usually love to type emails... and just let my fingers do the talking and type whatever that comes through my veins to my fingers... i think one reason for my unenthusiasm for writing mails could be becoz of blogging... more occupied in updating my blogs then replying them (as you can see right here...). but i will get back to them mails ASAP... one day... someday... soon.
im really not in the mood to draw anymore lines... and i've got like 6-7 more essays to write... 300words per piece... i think i might skip the 9am lecture... and do stuff *crossing fingers*... but i would definitely not miss theories!! its the grand finaly of all lectures... and its about "Deconstruction"... currently the most popular "style" in architecture... apparently you cant actually catergorized deconstruction... because if you DO, it wont be called deconstruction.. because deconstruction has no really any identity... its style-less... but since it has no name for this... they still end up naming it as deconstruction... sounds like a frivolous sort of architecture... but its interesting... the architect-daniel lebiskind, whom design the Jewish museum is a sort of deconstructivist... as well as frank gehry... well he used to be lar. all this excitement is giving me inspiration to continue drawing lines... cant wait to see whats the video about... hmmm my yawn just gave away all that inspirations... shucks... such a pity... *YAWN*

a Noisy library... Broken Streak?

shucks... all the CAD labs are being occupied.. hmmm guess i'll have to wait for openings... but i guess it'll b very hard to grab hold of one since its the ending of the semester and usually the seniors get the priority... darn seniors!! haha...
ANYWAY, on the way to uni, i bumped into my neighbor... its funny, yesterday while i was on the way to the supermarket, i thought i might catch her at the library since it was on the way... apparently not. hmmm in a paradoxical manner i guess its always like that... you'll usually bumped into ppl when you least expected... and usually always fail to during intentional meets... but today may seem to be the day of unexpected meetings... on the way to my faculty again i bumped into 2 of my old college mates... they were just loafing around outside their engineering faculty... its been awhile since i've seen them... yea so i had to hang around and listen to their sarcasm comments on my grown hair... like " oh?! u can grow hair??"... and "shouldnt your hair be golden now? its autumn..." they were really fascinated on my hair being reasonably long... i mean all those years in college, i kept my hair relatively short... to the extent of no hair at times... haha
its a good thing i brought extra work to do... as i wait for openings in the CAD labs... i might get back to this later...

taking a break from staring at lines... ugh! line after line after line... and the worse part is... im rearranging my design... so as im drawing, im figuring out what to change and stuff... hmmm just cant wait to finish this up and my model and just end this whole semester... oki. back to work!!

matilah sia kali ini.... !!
feeling really intimidated by them folks sitting up front of me... shucks! their 3d is damn CUN!! and those photoshop skills... envy... envy...

Swimming in the rain... eating bananas

i think im falling sick here... this is such a bad time to get sick... especially when i need to get work done.. hmmm hope i did not get the germs from my mentor through the phone... anything is possible!! shucks... getting tired easily and my throat is itching.. Oh God! pls not let it be tonsils again... i seem to have this tonsil problem at the very age of 10... having a swollen and infected tonsil it was really irritating... and it was really painful to talk when i was younger... kind of regretted not having that operation to get rid of it... well my mom was thiking of removing my tonsils... but apparently she change her mind thinking it wont be so bad when i get older... hmmm it still haunts me from time to time... and i have to really be careful with my throat... i usually like to drink really hot water.. let it slide through my throat hoping it'll melt and kill the germs lingering around there... well it works sometimes... but sometimes i think i burnt my throat for that... but its always soothing every time i gulp the hot water down when i have tonsil problem... a great sensation of thinking the germs are really being burnt to death!! that was then... then again i still do that now... i mean its a normal reflex thinking to do it... anyway just hope it isnt tonsil problems again. *cough*
it was a rainy day today... and so i went swimming... haha.. actually decided to go for a swim to get my mind off certain things... annoying thoughts... yeap, and so i did... swims are always good... for me it sometimes takes me away from reality to be or pretend to be something or just ease myself from problems and stress... i remember when i was younger, my bro, neighbours and i go to the club for swims... and we all love to pretend that we're all dragon ball characters, flying up in the sky... fighting each other with our so called powers... it was so much fun... and sometimes half way through we see yellow liquids rising up to the surface from my neighbor's bro, he's just so lazy to get up and do his thing in the toilet... eeEWW.. but uses them liquids for his powers, attempting to spray on us... disgusting...then when im swimming with my siblings only... i use to pretend that i was a shark... (Jaws was popular then) and attacked them... hahah!! when im in the pool, i like to imagine myself as a fish... wondering around just swimming aimlessly.... hmmm yea then later we all hurried into the sauna to burn our fleshes with the heat we kept adding steam till the whole place was all misty... sat there till our moms wanted to leave...
while swimming... i was reminiscing when i was training in the junior swim team... that was tiring... our coach- uncle johnny (or so we called him), was a nightmare on us... but i hate it when we had to train together with the gals... so embarrassing when the gals were ahead of us... it was humiliating... then again we were young and the gals at that particular time had longer legs than us guys... they we're taller... ugh! right now... my swimming standards are really sucky... i cant even remember how to do my fave swim style... the "butterfly"... that was my specialty then... ironically it is the only style that i cant do now... i remember i was always competing with this other indian gal who was one of my mom's good friends daughter... we actually came in together... man she was quick... always wondered if she had fins... wanted to slice them off to prevent me from falling into embarrassment... but i did have my share in wins lar... later on we got splited so we couldn't really compete... i was dumped into the other pool doing butterflies... and she was in breast stroke and free style... hahah but i sure loved the after training... we get to eat goreng pisang!! oh yummy!!
ahhh... Enya has the most beautiful voice in the whole world... she brings so much hope and really sooths my soul at ease...

Truly... Madly... Deeply...

Hari ni... aku tengok wayang... lucunya ni filem perancis ni... tak boleh tahan ketawa ni... ahahah
tadi aku chatting sama kawan sia di msia... dia ni teruk... bersembang tentang peristiwanya di hospital... (susahnya aku type ni melayu... banyak vocab aku dah lupa ni... best sia campur sama ingeris)... oki... dia ni inspek scroctum laki... gross nya ni... aku pun tak selesa dengar. blek!
tak berapa banyak aktiviti hari ni... kebanyakan masa lepak di rumah aje... kononya buat assignment... tapi... adakalanya di dapur.. bersihkan dapur... teruk nya... kotornya ni dapur... aku pun susun semula barang-barang... bosan lar... nak bersihkan tandas lagi... tapi aku control!! mesti habiskan aissgnment... haha sebelum tangok wayang!!
hmmm... adakah platonik ni betul betul benar...? seorang individu berapat dengan seseorang.. tapi tak adalah emosi "cinta" berlaku... seumur hidup... inin sangat susah nak percaya ... jika seorang berapat dengan kawannya yang berlainan seks... mestilar bintang-bintang berlaku.. eh? aku tak tahu lar... ini hal yang aku tak nak berfikir dengan dalam... tak nak komplikasikan hidup sia ni... selagi sia pun belum jatuh dalam masalah yang rumit... haha aku ni masih kool... tapi pernah kawan sia ceritakan halnya dengan kawannya yang kononnya platonik... oleh tu aku tiba-tiba saja terfikir semula perbualan tu...
esok ni... aku mesti mula dengan studio sia... hanya tinggal lebeh kurang 2 minggu aje...
inilah sia nak berkongsi sikit ilmu tentang fotografi...
apakah ni fotografi?? haha....
a photograph is invisible... deriving from a play not with form but with time... isolating... preserves... and presents a moment taken from a certain time. which by means a photograph fixes the memory in a static and single image that doesnt change... however with time... photographs would become ambigous in their memories... looking at a photograph taken and displayed in an exhibition... theres a 101 meaning that can be derived from there... and the only true meaning can only be from the photographer themselves or the witneses... a photgraph as well can reveal what is invisible to the human eye.... bringing out things that werent seen before... eyes might not have focused before... ugh!! ini memang bosan... mungkin aku ni letih lagi.. dah mula merepek... dahlah... pergi mandi dulu...

feeling.... cant think properly... ugh!

Called my mentor/ discipler just now... its been awhile since ive reported to him on my doings... haha.. but it was good to hear from him again... apparently the tables have turn, the last time we met before i headed off to aussie i was badly ill... now its his turn to be sick... ANYWAY, well we had a long chat on stuff... glad to hear my church in KL is really growing... almost every week people are getting saved... it was basically after their 40 days of fast and prayer that things started to really grow... awesome... and people back there are coming up... already 2 of my friends are now cell leaders... thats really interesting... when i get back i must go see whats been up. cant wait to go back and meet everyone... i feel so refreshed now... after the long chat... and listening to words of wisdoms and a really long prayer on the phone...
minds really been bleak for awhile, but these past 2 days has been really mind easing... and tomorrow im gonna watch "tetua"... yeap its a french film!! and "tetua" means... Shut-up!! haha... sounds interesting eh...
was at the library today...again... after church... just trying to finish up on my readings... but this time we decided to try studying in a new environment... so we went to the chess room to study... not much of a difference actually... but i guess there was no harm on a lil change of venue...
ugh... im really struggling to tyoe this blog... must be really sleepy... well better not force myself here... i wanna sleep... been yawning the whole day... for no good reason why... i think my neighbour was a lil annoyed by that... anyway...

Smoke on the water...

Taking a break... ugh! had a real nice hot shower today... wonderful! and the whole bathroom was all steamy... yeap... and so i had to sing the song 'misty'... i mean the bathroom was all misty... it was the perfect scenario to sing it!! yeap...
ANYWAY, todays morning lecture ended an hour earlier than usual... so we had ample time to relax and get a cup of coffee before our next lecture... and we did just that... actually this was the first time that we did went for coffee before lectures... it was nice... went to some cafe in the campus... sat in some courtyard area... under a huge big old tree... and basically telling jokes!! oh it was really lame jokes... but funny... heres one...

once there was this guy who looks like a potatoe
he was walking... and then he fell
so he cried...

not funny?? how bout this one...

once there was this ghost
and he was riding a motorcycle
and he had an accident
and so he died.

now that one must had really got you laughing... eh? hahaha well the first one i admit is terrible.. but the second one is really a heart stopper!! ghost... die... hahah!!
todays lecture was about technology and the impacts on architecture... or something like that... and thus i have made a conclusion!
Technology always will fail, because of discontentment and unsatisfactions, its arrival is being ignored.
but you have to give a lil more credit to technology... though its been failling... its still progressing... huh?
Bumped into my cousin today at uni... mmm shes really grown up now... i like to read her so called "editions"... yea.. anyway she was asking me about winter hols... hmmm shes going skiing... kewl! yea... now ive got another winter activity... maybe. when i told her i might be going to adelaide... she was like "adelaide?! what for??"... ouch!
ive got another one...
J: So where were you at during the holidays?
S: adelaide
J: at the lake? mmm... interesting
S: yea it was!!
J: really? how was it?
S: well... people there are friendly and the food aint too bad
J: AT THE LAKE??
S: yeap...
J: must be a really big area
S not really... melbournes much bigger
J: but melbourne's a city
S: you're right, can be comparing that to a city
J: yea, so where is this place?
S: south aussie
J: must be very cold at the lake
S: not too bad... melb's colder
J: true... so did you catch any fishes over at the lake?
S: fishes? oh you mean "fishes" hehe... nope. not much choices there
J: oh? fishes very small there... eh?
S: not really... there some really big ones as well.. quite a number
J: then why didnt you?
S: big fish? you kidding? nolar... why would i wanna hook up a fish from some other place
J: see what you mean... u need license huh?
S: something like that...
J: i'll go there and check 'em out myself
S: yea... all the best to ya!
J: if i do catch one... i'll show it to ya...
S: just hope the fish wont eat you alive!!
J: haha.. good one there... we'll have a feast!!
S: cool... well thats adelaide for you
J: yea... at the lake...
S: so where did you go for the hols??
J: Darwin...

haha... sigh... okay back to work!!

Endless Nights... with a Genius

And so it begins... the sleepless nights... big panda eyes... and stressful zits... ugh!! probably wont be sleeping these 2 nights... got a huge presentation this friday... just had my shower and taking a break to drink me MILK... well the only reason i am online is because one my juniors needed my help on some archi stuffs, funny that she's asking me on computer CAD things as well... im the least expert when it comes to CAD im more in the manual side... everyone in my house knows how to bring up a power 3D CAD drawing and me? still using a pen and pencil for that, not that im totally illiterate on CAD but i just prefer manual and since i use manual more often, im quite left behind at certain things, then again being a genius would be a breeze for me to catch up (self praise is no praise)... i feel so important... thousands of kilometres away and people from msia still need my help.... reminds me of the times when i was in Taylor's college... going on visits with my program director to the juniors studio to check their works out.. then always at hand for consultations... i had so much respect then.
it was a good thing i was at the library today... to realised such a genius i am!! yes... was figuring out how to tackle some of my design's problems... trying to enhance the beauty and functionalizing the spaces... woohoo!! i manged to figure it out in the end... at the very last minutes before the library was closing!! hmmm... now its just putting the pieces together into drawings... and model...
ANYWAY... heres another of my... whatevers...

Vision- had and will always be blurred, by the infidelity of mankind, by the dissatisfaction of life, by 'others' that dissillusion and confuses our perceptions, by our own endeavours to seek in clouding our own world to a greater extent

Females and libraries...

Was in the library today... man! females can be really disruptive... i was sitting at a table studying... along came this gal to join me at the table to do her work... *bang bing boom!!* throws her books on the table... it shooked the whole table... i nearly tot the table lamp was going to fall right on me... then as she sits... she bangs her hands on the table... opens her book in a brutally manner... flips the pages like it had insulted her mother or something... yea... well she didnt really studied i guess... coz half the time her head was on the table.... "meditating"... yea after half an hour she realised that she be better off sleeping at home then at the library... an hour later another gal comes by and sits at the table... again... *bang bing BOOM* this was worse... she really had something going on with her books... oh geez! and being slightly bigger... the forces she inflicts on the table was much more brutal.... no offence but these bitches should have more consideration when they wanna study at a table with someone else... but it was no wonder... Honkies...
ANYWAY... was reading a feminist text today (wonder whats with me and females)... very interesting... it was about females and architecture... these bunch of feminist and their weird art pieces on how the world perceives woman... they related females as plastic bags... this particular lady who does funny art works likes to use plastic bags as her materials... well, figuratively plastic bags were an overlooked by-product, discarded after use... and how plastic protects...but only temporarily it contains but has no fixed form... a sort of translucent and opaque skin (which is true in a way most guys only see them females on the transparent side of things- nude). yea... the text was talking about women having no identity in this planet where it is dominated by men... yet it is the women who brings these men into the world... and how women live in a masculine world where the architecture was suited actually for men and as a result have to try seek dwelling from within... heres one of the concept of "pretty"- women must be nude because she is not situated, does not situate herself in her place. her clothes, her makeup, and her jewels are the things with which she tries to create her container(s), her envelope(s). she cannot make use of the envelope that she is, and must create artificial ones. hmmm... then it went on in describing an art piece that intended to signify how WOMEN is just a mere surface... feminity is masquerade... but the feminist tries to defy that... and prove feminine is more than a flat surface... the art piece was a women made of plastic bag hung on to a coat hook... symobolizing to be left there until her services is needed... the plastic bag represents the female as a strange sort of protection, and being empty on the inside... she begs a fitting for someone to try her on... to fill in the gaps... then it goes on and on... explaining the other art pieces and theoretical texts on a worldly view on females... really interesting... the art works are really intriguing... in some ways i guess its true... on how women are perceived... being transparent unacknowledge of their existents... they are gloomed in a certain opaquesity from achieving equality with the male genders. this is very paradoxical but i guess its just how things are... am i making any sense here? probably not... hope im not offending anyone...

Nightmares... and Vanilla flavoured yogurt

Todays a real chillin day... BRRrrRRR... cant wait for my socks to arrive... its got lil toes... hehe. YEAP! had my haircut today... this morning... i was a lil restless at home just figuring out how to do my assignment... so i decided to just go for a short walk and while doing that i'll just get a haircut... yeap... hairs pretty neat now... its been awhile since i've gone to a saloon/ barber shop to cut my hair... since i've gotten that shaver, i had been self servicing my hair ever since... yea... well, stepped into the saloon... i think he was an italian... he didnt sound aussie. we'll he talks alot... man.. non stop asking questions and telling lil stories of his previous asian clients... but at one point the conversation got pretty good... it went like this:

Barber: So how old r u?
me: 21...
Barber: oh?! (looked very stun) u dont look your age...
me: oh?
barber: i tot u was 17 years old...
me: really?! thats... good..
barber: u do look young...

I went to the library today... it was cold... ummm i wore shorts... wonder what i was thinking... brain freeze!!
my mind is in a blur state today... stress on assignments... i dunno how to do!! plus im having nightmares on assignment results... i dreamt about my theories assignment!! i got back the results and i got 1% out of 30% it was aweful!! the site of seeing my results was horrible... in addition to that.. the back page of the assignment was a whole list of why i deserved to get what i got... terrible!! it was SOOOO real!!! ugh.. just thinking of it now gives me the creeps... this would be very sad if it really comes true!!... NOOOO!!!!!!!

Momma you know I LOVE YOU...

First and foremost i would like to congratulate KG!! for winning the MVP award... its a bout time he does so... to me i think he is one of the best player in the NBA... Yea, currently im more on the WOLVES side in winning a championship... the NETS are really sad case... if they could pull out some wins... i might consider them back... plus the WOLVES has more enthusiasm for the game... its been a great season for them this year... finsihing top in the league having an MVP player and all... a championship would be just what they need to put the icing on the cake!! GO WOLVES!! WOOHOO!! hmmm im thinking of getting a KG jersey... wonder if i've got any friends at Minnesota...
Mothers day... church was quieter than usual... well we were missing one of our friend... me and "Bear" looked at each other after church realizing its awefully different without "Cat"... but the kids were adorable... up stage singing for the mothers... hahah! reminds me of the time i was at sunday school... i was quite a prejudice then... was usually more active and sporting when it was my parents shift being in charge of sunday school service... haha... back then sometimes my dad leads in the praise and worship sessions... we use to sing from scrolls... actually it was songs written on a big piece of cloth... and like for the songs on that sunday... all the sheets would be clipped together... easier to flip over... yea and during special occasions like mothers and fathers day, christmas... we would have to go to the main service to perform... usually singing... and it was always terrible... well i think so... but the adults thought it was cute... and we all being so adorable was more than enough for their entertainment...
Called mom later that evening... wasnt really a great day for her... mothers day didnt actually felt like mothers day... my brother didnt wish her... sad sad... both him and my dad was too occupied with the Thomas Cup... yea, but my mom was glad that i called... and my sister as well... i guess us people being far away from home would always know how to appreciate these events more than the ones close by in their comfort zones... yea.. then me and my mom was discussing on how small the world is... apparently i just found out that the parents of my Pastor of the church here goes to my home church in KK... and he's actually one of my friends cousin... oh wow!! really old cousin... coz my friends only 19 this year... and my pastor is like in his early 30s... but yea... and all along his parents had been sitting right in front of my parents at church... haha... ironic?
HAHA... was talking to one of my good buddy... and he was asking me of my winter holiday plans... and he suggested Adelaide... Woopidoo!! im going to ADELAIDE!! well probably for a week... or maybe less... i mean, umm how exciting can Adelaide be.. heheh no offence... but yeap... im still thinking about it... and managing my $$ for it... this is gonna be FUN!! this reminds me... ive gotta get more warm clothing... winter is just around the corner... better be prepared... since i've lost weight... dun think i have much fats to keep me warm.
Mondays... its prayer meet... and im going to the library to study!! yeap... and im thinking of a haircut... hmmm we'll see... we'll see...

Father and son... eating bruschetta

Picnic was great!! i mean the garden was really nice... and i played CATCH!! its basically tossing and catching a baseball using a glove... yea its fun... the only worry was not to injure my palm... but im a natural so no worries ;-)
the park is nice... it was near some building where all our exams are held at... and thats really far from where i stay!! well atleast i could take the city circle to get there... hope my paper will be in the afternoon. the melbourne museum was next to the garden as well... actually its situated right in the gardens... the gardens really big... a very funky building... aussie buildings are usually very decond' style architecture... hmmm this holiday i must make an effort to visit all these funky architecture buildings in melbourne!! well i realised that aussie design ideas are usually quite simple in a way... from my impression... the museum basically takes on using this grid system, but the architecture extrudes out of the rigidity to create the form.. which compliments the adjacent rigid victorian architecture... that uses a grid system... beautifully expressed... yea! i have to go around to really look at the architecture during the holidays!! heres a list of the must visits:
1. Federation Square
2. Melbourne Museum
3. QV building (then again its not totally finish)
4. the Law Building (hope its open then)
5. Victoria Uni law building... etc if i had a car i would go further!!

phoo... really tired after the picnic... it was really a long walk there!! in addition of carrying all the food!! man!! but i was at one of my cell members house preparing the food, and i weighed myself... and i LOST WEIGHT!! im now below the 70kg mark!! thats... been awhile... hahaha.... and to think i would be gaining weight now with all the food and no consistency in exercising... but yea... its good news to me!! this shows im keeping my side of the bet with my mom!! if this goes on i might just win the bet!!!!!
hahah... i was in the tram... and i was gazing across observing this father and son together... its was so cute and so loved... haha. i love observing father and sons bonding together, one time i was at a prak reading, i was observing fathers and sons around hanging out... one was playing footy with his son... another they were walking down the green with their bikes... i definitely would wanna have a son... one of my long term goals in life is to be a father.. then i could do all the father and son activities together... walks in the parks... building models... fishing... playing sports together (hope i wont break my back)... and just basically bonding!! well if i cant/ not eligible to marry... i'll just adopt... theres 101 ways to be a father... yea... all the way!! one reason would be of my dad... he's a real family man... very sacrificial of his time... he works hard but always still manage to find time spending with us... i really miss those times man... the fishing trips, ball games... assembling jigsaw puzzles.. etc. awesome... but actually now we still have our bonding moments when im back in KK... haha we can play golf, or just go to the driving range and just hit balls... we have our chat times... well since we're both in sort of the same area of built construction... we have lots to talk... we go for walks in buildings and just admire the architecture and structural beauties of it... being a father is so rewarding, if your son becomes a somebody in life... maybe when im older, we can have those grandfather, father and son outings...

ANATOMY... Abusively disgusting!!

Theories lecture today was..umm interesting... well it was pretty boring abit... i slept during the last 45 minutes... it was about human bodies... dissecting the body and relating it to architecture... its no wonder im not doing med. but i can tell you one thing, the human body is disgusting... the lecturer was showing drawings by architects and surgeons of skinless man and women... eww!! there was one picture of a man one hand holding a dagger and the other was his peeled off skin... leaving him with just muscles... then another one was a women GENEROUSLY opening up her belly open seeing through her fetus and bla bla... but i slept later on... or probably i fainted... i dunno, when i woke up it was a picture of Ren and Stimpy... wonder what was that all about... but things got worse, later on we watch a documentary about body transplant-mainly heart... yea and it was really gruesomely... horrible!! ugghh!! Glad im not doing med... its really aweful!! words cant describe how it was, everyone were like DISGUSTED. i was grabbing tightly to where my heart was... worried it might just pop out of my chest... (you'll never know..) its amazing that i kept my eyes open throughout... i know what Simon Cowell would say... "horrendous... absolutely horrendous!!" the things surgeons do... poor heart!! im glad i dissect buildings... atleast blood doesnt squirt out and no living organ is like... pumping... ANYWAY! tute was not so bad... i kind of think architecture is at times overly full of nonsense... but its art... discussing about a house by means is a sort of prosthetic device... but we got quite off the topic on med and archi... and went into supposedly next weeks lecture on technology and archi... it was pretty interesting saying how through watching tv, listening to the radio or even online... you are actually connected to another building as well through a system that connects you... pretty silly? imagine this... so we have actually achieve nirvana... or whatever crap that like we are able to be at 2 places at the same time... so when yo on your lights at home... you are basically being at 2 places at the same time... one of coz would be in your own house, the other probably would be the electricity station... then again who on EARTH would wanna be in a power station... then later we were discussing on some blur building... the form being created by mist... and people wearing raincoats that could change colors when you stand to another person and if a certain number of people grouped together, another color would change... bla ble bla! this was a sort of space definition.. like one person being a space, when 2 or three grouped together there creates another new space and it goes on and on, infinity of spaces... all within this huge misty space... weird... then the discussion got pretty cynicle... the students were like asking weird questions like "wat if i didnt like the other person, and didnt want to change the color of their raincoat.." or "but if i like this certain color... it might take forever to try and get that color pairing up with everyone until i get the color..." sigh... aussies... WELL, i guess its pretty logical at times.. about archi relating to med... i mean it changes inaccordance through time... last time people did surgery and transplanted basically only human organs... just like architecture where buildings were quite static following a certain rule of lets say how a house be built, the living room must be here, kitchen there... all the essetials... then now in modern times organs can be replaced by other artificial stuff or non human organs like pig's heart... putting metal plates... just like archi... architecture being full of surprises... weird forms are derived from the ordinary and how we perceive a certain aspect everything now is more open for interpretation and new ideas, such as my library assignment... yeap. i was reading some article... it was a competition, similar to ours to create a new age library... one of them was pretty ingenius... his idea was that toilets could be the new new age library... we goes on to say since 45% of people reads in the toilet and the toilet is quite a quiet and peaceful place to read... plus u have privacy! and he goes on about digitized books... toilet papers as reading materials... after you read them, then u can wipe it up your ass!! hahaha...
Got an email by a friend of mine... and in her mail... she asked... "so when are you getting into a relationship again, or (this is the best part) why arent you gonna fall in love... well hmmm i replied... saying umm how should i know?! and probably not... coz i fear of getting hurt at this point of time... yea... Then again, when IS the good time that i can get hurt... i mean i cant get hurt when im young coz then i'll get child depression and become some sort of psycho killer.... then being a teenager i cant coz then my emotions are really super unstable and already i have to worry about zits popping out... then now at uni level... i cant be distracted from my studies... coz my parents would kill me!! then after graduation and im a young man... i cant get hurt coz i need the motivation to built up my career... then at mid age... its too risky to get hurt coz you'll have it hard during your mid life crisis thingy... then when im old, its not advisable to get hurt.. coz you might get a heart attack being so fragile... makes sense?

Peanut butter... Jelly Beans.

Death... its inevitable... really wonder how it feels when a loved one dies... so far my life has not encountered any of these death experience... near death perhaps but not death... period! rest in peace... but death really is a simple yet complicated thing... i mean when u die... u die... but the complications i guess is organising the funeral and causing hearts to be broken and stuff... people suffer more than the dead (simple thought... simple mind)... well i guess when i was young i did contemplated on committing suicide... yea... the dumbest attemp was once i drench myself with water and stood right next to the aircond hoping to get pneumonia... and die.. duh! but even an attempt to suicide takes alot of time and energy... hmmmph waiting for the aircond to get really cold and just standing there really made me tired... i was young... cant remember why i wanted to die such a way... sigh... must b the medias... sad medias...

*oh shucks! my smelly feet friend is in the room!!... phew... glad it was only for seconds...*

hmmm... LEADERSHIP... an aspect that came across my mind today... well i was asked b4 on what i wanted to serve in at OCF... besides worship... cell leading came to thought... then again it had been on my mind for a very long time in being a cell leader... since i was 19... really admired my cell leader then... though he could be such a pain in the ass at times... but hes got real leadership quality... he really took care of the cell... a real BIG BROTHER... yea it'll be interesting to take care a group of people... nurturing and watching them grow... Then again it all depends if i take it up over here or was given the chance... but i might not be here all too long (as in melb uni)... wonder if i do transfer uni, commitment towards OCF would be hard maybe (depending how far i would be)... i dunno, Lets just see how things go... then again OCF is not the only place i could take up leadership roles as a CGL...
Oh dinner was nice... had this new thing called "souvlaki"... very meaty... its actually like kebab in lebanese bread... but its sooo much fatter and chunkier!! oh yes... DELICIOUS!! abit salty... but... anyway i like food... so its always nice...
