Theories lecture today was..umm interesting... well it was pretty boring abit... i slept during the last 45 minutes... it was about human bodies... dissecting the body and relating it to architecture... its no wonder im not doing med. but i can tell you one thing, the human body is disgusting... the lecturer was showing drawings by architects and surgeons of skinless man and women... eww!! there was one picture of a man one hand holding a dagger and the other was his peeled off skin... leaving him with just muscles... then another one was a women GENEROUSLY opening up her belly open seeing through her fetus and bla bla... but i slept later on... or probably i fainted... i dunno, when i woke up it was a picture of Ren and Stimpy... wonder what was that all about... but things got worse, later on we watch a documentary about body transplant-mainly heart... yea and it was really gruesomely... horrible!! ugghh!! Glad im not doing med... its really aweful!! words cant describe how it was, everyone were like DISGUSTED. i was grabbing tightly to where my heart was... worried it might just pop out of my chest... (you'll never know..) its amazing that i kept my eyes open throughout... i know what Simon Cowell would say... "horrendous... absolutely horrendous!!" the things surgeons do... poor heart!! im glad i dissect buildings... atleast blood doesnt squirt out and no living organ is like... pumping... ANYWAY! tute was not so bad... i kind of think architecture is at times overly full of nonsense... but its art... discussing about a house by means is a sort of prosthetic device... but we got quite off the topic on med and archi... and went into supposedly next weeks lecture on technology and archi... it was pretty interesting saying how through watching tv, listening to the radio or even online... you are actually connected to another building as well through a system that connects you... pretty silly? imagine this... so we have actually achieve nirvana... or whatever crap that like we are able to be at 2 places at the same time... so when yo on your lights at home... you are basically being at 2 places at the same time... one of coz would be in your own house, the other probably would be the electricity station... then again who on EARTH would wanna be in a power station... then later we were discussing on some blur building... the form being created by mist... and people wearing raincoats that could change colors when you stand to another person and if a certain number of people grouped together, another color would change... bla ble bla! this was a sort of space definition.. like one person being a space, when 2 or three grouped together there creates another new space and it goes on and on, infinity of spaces... all within this huge misty space... weird... then the discussion got pretty cynicle... the students were like asking weird questions like "wat if i didnt like the other person, and didnt want to change the color of their raincoat.." or "but if i like this certain color... it might take forever to try and get that color pairing up with everyone until i get the color..." sigh... aussies... WELL, i guess its pretty logical at times.. about archi relating to med... i mean it changes inaccordance through time... last time people did surgery and transplanted basically only human organs... just like architecture where buildings were quite static following a certain rule of lets say how a house be built, the living room must be here, kitchen there... all the essetials... then now in modern times organs can be replaced by other artificial stuff or non human organs like pig's heart... putting metal plates... just like archi... architecture being full of surprises... weird forms are derived from the ordinary and how we perceive a certain aspect everything now is more open for interpretation and new ideas, such as my library assignment... yeap. i was reading some article... it was a competition, similar to ours to create a new age library... one of them was pretty ingenius... his idea was that toilets could be the new new age library... we goes on to say since 45% of people reads in the toilet and the toilet is quite a quiet and peaceful place to read... plus u have privacy! and he goes on about digitized books... toilet papers as reading materials... after you read them, then u can wipe it up your ass!! hahaha...
Got an email by a friend of mine... and in her mail... she asked... "so when are you getting into a relationship again, or (this is the best part) why arent you gonna fall in love... well hmmm i replied... saying umm how should i know?! and probably not... coz i fear of getting hurt at this point of time... yea... Then again, when IS the good time that i can get hurt... i mean i cant get hurt when im young coz then i'll get child depression and become some sort of psycho killer.... then being a teenager i cant coz then my emotions are really super unstable and already i have to worry about zits popping out... then now at uni level... i cant be distracted from my studies... coz my parents would kill me!! then after graduation and im a young man... i cant get hurt coz i need the motivation to built up my career... then at mid age... its too risky to get hurt coz you'll have it hard during your mid life crisis thingy... then when im old, its not advisable to get hurt.. coz you might get a heart attack being so fragile... makes sense?
