had lunch at NamLoong today. fried chicken chops with thai sauce. mmmm... oily and salty. im not surprise if i have high blood pressure. decided to sit right infront near the front door. was curios to find out how popular their "paos" are. since my arrival, all the following customers only came in to take away "paos". one guy bought 6 of every type of "pao", and that would be around 7 different types. minutes later he came in again to order porkchop with rice to take away. he looked abit like jensen... oh no! jensen.
i love sitting there with a pot of chinese tea and taking my on sweet time. for one its supposed to be healthy, plus its free. after one pot of that, my stomach was bloated. ahhhh... i feel cleanse. oh, now im remembering someone once said i look like a hamsap old man drinking tea and playing chinese chess. thank goodness i dont fit in that prescription, i suck in chinese chess.
chinese people are really good at utillising the mirror. almost all chinese restaurants installs mirrors along their wall. well... theres not much you can do with a mirror. one, would be to make the illusion that the space is bigger. second, it actually is supposed to chase ghosts away, ghosts apparently hates seeing their reflection. third, the female tauke is vain together with all her "good looking" chinese boy waiters. and finally would be for security, economically. to sum it all up, its fengshui.
oops. gotta go. appointment.
