i was the little drummer boy in church today, and i played horribly. my drumming skills has become somewhat mundane and repetitive. i just have no idea/ clue of any new creative ways to play the songs. then again, i'm trying not to create a scene and attention. too funky would result in piercing eyes, especially today which i assume i was the loudest instrument after the organ and piano. the stupid guitar guy forgot to bring batteries for his acoustic. i was terrible and i made funny faces everytime i made an error.i should stop doing that. i hate 3/4 beats, i just dont know what to do with it, its a beat thats neither here nor there. and i sort of screwed up the 6/8 beat song today. i was thinking to myself the whole time... "what the heck am i doing?". so embarrasing!
communion was done by swee teng (Ps melvin's bro-in-law). was half concentrating. the front part was interesting when he talked about communion back in the days, where it was divided between the rich and poor. the rich start having their own feast without waiting for the poor people. after that i was distracted by... i dont know what.
the sermon was i think supposed to be interesting. i manage to catch a few points out of it. ummm... example when ps melvin said that there is no such thing as a perfect church. well, it might had been until you join the church and then it becomes not perfect because of your imperfection disease. and another one... i forgot. i couldnt quite put the whole thing together though. i think he saw me yawn... twice. i couldnt help it, its sort of a habit in the morning actually, even if i wasnt sleepy.
My portfolio is now 75-80% done. printing in uni is relatively expensive but i had the whole lab to myself, not like it really mattered. everything now is in A3.
anyway, now all thats left to do for my portfolio is editing up my 3rd year works and modify my industrial training projects (which would be... later). i cant believe the uni lab doesnt have Adobe Illustrator. its so much better than photoshop in arranging presentation boards. thank goodness i never deleted the one in my laptop.
the weather is really friggin cold. its been like that for almost a whole week. i like it.
i actually had something to blog about chocolates but i cant remember what it was now. oh yea! and i wanted to share what i learnt about K-19, the soviets first 2nd generation sub. but i'll do that another time. i think i'll go clean my kitchen instead.

Thought you would have ironed out all the hiccups during rehearsal... or did you just jump in and gave it a go? Brave.
