whoa... hot showers are always sooooo good and refreshing and on top of that, i used my new shampoo and bath gel i bought ermm yesterday... i feel and smell so clean and fresh!!
Yesterday was great.. church was nice... i mean great! sermon was about the reasons and doings Jesus did to show authority as He is the King! and basically a glimps on what following Jesus would be expected... not an easy life... you may die in a real painful death... the world is just so caught up with the world... is this logical? but the pastor was really bad cos he suddenly talked about his time back in msia watching football at mamaks...whoa! that was bad! i miss the mamaks!! badly!! but later i went studying at the library!! the library is a real nice place to study... i love studying there... its sooo much like a library!only sad thing is that you cant borrow the books! i really dont know what is the point of having a library card if you cant borrow books... pretty dumb... but it has a real nice environment to study in!! plus im doing my theoretical assignment on design and coming up with a theoretical position on how a library should be design under my own perceptions and stuff... so i went there to secretly take pictures of the library... hahah!! success!! as always... im real sneaky...
ANYWAY! im glad i managed to finish reading my theoretical text on "medicine: disscting the architectural body" the most intruiging text i've ever read (not to mention funny too) on archi and meds coinciding with each other... and in the text one of the phrases went like "we were born in the hospital, and we die in a hospital and therefore we should live in a hospital..." huh?! and it went on saying that architecture went on a DIET, cos it had been fed with toooooo many victorian architecture... bla bla... and so it went into functionalism... and it got pretty anerocsic and stuff... pretty amusing eh? top of that i was studying with a meds student... and umm yea i suddenly felt more knowledgeble coz i knew more about med now and i have archi knowledge, where as she only has med knowledge... this is so out of context... hehe.
*this is gonna be a really long blog, but hey! i had a pretty long day*
but wait it got more interesting... hahah went with my friend on a really long walk around melbourne later that night... whoa! and we like went to really seedy places adn stuff... but walks are always good... i like 'em... if theres good company.... yea pretty exciting!
yeap... yea it was really a day.. got me reminescing on my old school days at primary and high school... yea really miss those after school activities with my neighbours and stuff... doing really cool and adventurest stuff... things really had changed soooo much... well its for the good i guess... we've all grown up! which is quite depressing, coz adulthood is quite unextreme i guess... but i guess there are other goals in life i've to achieve *this is so cliche*... cant wait to graduate! i can travel around the world!! can be drinking coffee in venice?! and be brainstorming a building design be built in japan... ahaha this is so awesome... *im in a real good mood today, coz my brains really ticking...*
yea... hmmm my neighbour and i was discussing on the issue on leadership and callings and prophesies and gifts of the holy spirits... adn yea... OCF here is really different, actually it isnt much of a difference as it was in the KL churches... lazy to elaborate further. really feel like slapping them asking them to wake up! reality check?! common sense? aiya.. i dunno lar... probably its just different... (im thinking to myself here) ummm i mean about requesting GOd to give them certain gifts and believing that you would only have the holy spirit only when you have the gifts from God... i mean its silly, why would you wanna ASK God to give you a gift that may not be appropraite for you? i mean doesnt God knows whats best for you than you do? and whos in charge here... HIM or you? He's the man! really self seeking eh... then again i shouldnt judge... but just be content of whta you have... and believe that God will provide whats needed for you? i love the discussion today... i've got WORK to do!!!!
